For those of you who have not been to Edinburgh before, we thought it might be useful to give you some inspiration of where you might stay (disclaimer: Joe and Jo take no responsibility for the hotels we recommend!). The good thing is, the Royal Scots Club is in the city centre, so as well as the small number of rooms in the venue itself, there are a multitude of other places close by as well.
This is just a short list of possible places to stay for some inspiration, but Edinburgh has a plethora of hotels and accommodation, to suit all tastes and budgets and there are many more good hotels out there.
The Balmoral
The Balmoral is an Edinburgh legend, sat at the East end of Princes Street and next to Waverley station. A (very) short walk from all amenities - shops, bars, restaurants, touristy things to visit. It has a pool and spa, Michelin starred restaurant, brasserie, bar etc.

Hotel Missoni
Hotel Missoni is modern hotel on George IV Bridge, close to the Royal Mile and the pubs in the Grass Market. It's a short walk from Waverley station, Princes Street and Princes Street Gardens.

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

For apartments, check out InnerCityLets, which has a number of apartments sleeping between 4 and 8 in the city centre. Some of these are even located on the same street as our venue (Abercromby Place) or nearby, e.g. Albany Place. If you're coming up for more than one night this may be a great option.
